Covid-19 Challenge

As we practice physical distancing, we must remain socially connected. In lieu of our April 2020 meeting, we challenged all our members to take part in an online exhibition. We asked our members to develop an arrangement based on one of the following themes:

• Foraged ikebana. In these trying times, materials are scarce, wholesalers are closed, but spring is bursting into bloom all around us. Arrange seasonal blooms and branches in the style of your choice.

• Reflections on solitude. Create a simple arrangement and share your thoughts about how these times influenced your work.

• Vintage blooms. If you don’t have access to flower materials currently, share an older work and perhaps a story behind it.
